Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Flemo. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account & verification

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Flemo requires a mandatory, one-time selfie and identity verification check at signup to ensure a safe, verified-only space. By registering, you agree that:

• You will provide genuine government-issued identification and a clear, real-time matching selfie.
• You consent to our automated face verification system processing your facial descriptors strictly for identity verification and fraud prevention.
• You will not create duplicate profiles, use stock or third-party photos, or impersonate other individuals.
• We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that fail the verification check, display signs of coordinated fraud, or contain artificial/falsified images, without liability to you.

3. Acceptable use

To keep Flemo safe and welcoming, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other members.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
• Use the Service for solicitation, spam, scams, or commercial advertising.
• Collect or misuse other members' information.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

You can block and report other members in the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit. You grant Flemo a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile to other members). You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

5. Events and in-person meetings

Flemo helps you discover communities and real-world events, some organized by member Hosts. Flemo does not organize, supervise, or endorse these events and is not responsible for them. Always use good judgment and prioritize your safety when meeting people in person. Meet in public places and tell someone where you're going.

6. Premium features & payments

Flemo may offer optional paid features. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Prices and billing terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions and refunds are subject to the terms presented at checkout and applicable app-store policies.

7. Termination

You may stop using Flemo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other members or the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. While we verify members at signup, Flemo cannot guarantee the conduct of any member, the accuracy of any profile, or the outcome of any connection. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flemo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including interactions with other members or attendance at events.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
